3. What is the video optimiser?

4. How do I install the video optimiser?
If you are a first time user, or if your version needs upgrading, a message will appear on the screen prompting you to install or upgrade. Please follow the on-screen instructions.
5. I have already installed the video optimiser. Why am I being asked to install it again?
| We have recently released a newer, enhanced version of the video optimiser which needs to be installed in order to watch videos at the high quality setting. Please note: some older versions of the optimiser will not be detected, so you may be asked to 'install' rather than 'upgrade'.

Please ensure you have enough bandwidth. Your Internet connection must be at least 512kb/sec to watch video on this site. If your PC meets all the requirements but you still cannot play, please refresh the page and try again. You could also try restarting your browser.
Please also check that your anti-virus software or firewall is not blocking the content, and that you have permission to install software, i.e. the video optimiser on your PC. Sometimes the video optimiser installation is blocked by company firewalls.

11. Can I watch videos on my Mac?
Yes, using Windows Media Player for Mac, you can watch videos at the "standard quality" setting. You will not need to install the video optimiser. Visit Microsoft Windows Media for Mac to choose the best installation for you.
12. How can I connect my PC to my TV?
This depends on your equipment, but should be fairly simple if you have a graphics/video card with a TV-OUT connector, a suitable input on your television and the correct cabling. One option is to use the S-video output on your PC to connect to the 3 RCA (red, white and yellow) input on your television. We cannot provide advice for your individual setup, so please refer to the retailer and/or manufacturer of your goods to determine the best method for you.
